IITS4101 - Web & Mobile Technology
Overview
This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the technologies, architectural patterns, and development frameworks powering modern web and mobile ecosystems. Grounded in an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework, the course balances structural theory with agile engineering execution.
Students will analyze full-stack communication protocols and client-server decoupling mechanics while evaluating performance considerations like state management, network latency, and asset optimization.
In the laboratory, students progress from semantic document styling and asynchronous DOM manipulation to building modern single-page web applications (SPAs) and cross-platform mobile applications from a unified codebase, with emphasis on API engineering, mobile hardware integration, and cloud-native hosting pipelines.
